Last week, boring office hours was disturbed when my boss' secretary suddenly collapsed. We all gathered around her to know what happened. I immediately called the company nurse. Another one called her son, who's also working in the same company. We all wondered what caused her to faint. We thought that it may have been because of her myoma and high blood pressure. Later on, we found out that what made her fell down on the floor is the wiring of the telephone. She was simply tripped by the cord of that thing. She was rushed instantly to the nearest hospital and ended with seven stitches on her forehead. Can we blame the wires of the telephone? Or can we just simply put the blame to the stupidity of my officemate? In my opinion, this is just an accident and the management is the only one to be held responsible for this. Many of my officemates had already been a victim of those long wires of the telephone. The management should have thought of buying a wireless phone instead.
An example of a wireless phone is the Panasonic 4 line cordless phone system. Though it is more expensive than any other business telephone system, it is worth more than the amount you that you will have to pay for. In this type of telephone, there is no more expensive wiring and required installation. Not only will it lessen accidents, it will also make your life hassle and worry free. It is also rated by Consumer Search as one of the top four line telephone system. Its greatest competitor is AT&T. My friend in the US used both Panasonic and AT&T and he said that they are both very good but it is still best to use Panasonic instead of AT&T. There is no use in comparing them because AT&T is not available in my country so it advisable to choose Panasonic instead.
My officemate is now feeling well and vibrant again. She became more cautious when walking around the premises of the office. Though, there is little trauma every time she sees a telephone wiring, she can still manage to do the daily tasks assigned to her. She also submitted a written letter proposing for a change in telephone system to a cordless phone system. This would benefit not only her but everyone in the organization.
